Michael D. Jones

Mike Jones is a general practitioner who devotes a considerable amount of time to estate planning, probate, corporate law, and taxation.

Mike has been listed in "Best Lawyers" in America since 1989 and has received the highest rating of "AV" by Martindale-Hubbel Legal Directory. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers.

Mike is involved in community service. He is a member of the University of Nebraska at Omaha Alumni Association serving on the Board of Directors from 1987 to 2001 as Legal Counsel and the Executive Committee from 1987 to 2000. He was Chairman of Board of Directors from 2000-2001 and Chairman of Chancellor's Scholarship Golf Tournament from 2000-2003. Mike was a member of Community Health Charities of Nebraska and was a member of its Board of Directors. He served in the following offices: Secretary, 1975-1978; President Elect, 1979; President, 1980; and Vice President, 1981. He has been a member of Rotary Club of West Omaha since 1988 and held the following offices: President Elect, 2000-2001; President, 2001-2002; Board of Directors, 1997-2003. He also is a member of Rotary Club of Omaha West Foundation and held the following offices: Board Member, 1995-2000; and President, 1996-2000.

Mike has served the following foundations: The Adah and Leon Millard Foundation as Advisor; The Stanley M. Truhlsen Family Foundation as Director and Secretary and The Gifford Foundation, Inc. as Director and Secretary; The University of Nebraska Foundation as a Trustee and has served as follows: Member of Board of Directors, 1995-2001; Executive Committee, 2000-2001; Chairman of Administrative Committee, 2000-2001; and Member Administrative Committee, 2000.

Mike is an adjunct assistant professor of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.
